An hour long personal project and my first feature length film, completed in spare time outside of full time employment. The documentary tells the story of the Saxon king's death, and how his story grew, over the subsequent Danish conflicts, to the point where it was highly influential in the formation of England and also in the growth of my home town of Bury St Edmunds.

This project features interview with an expert historian, reenactment scenes and graphical maps and required me to fill many roles from researching, writing and producing through shooting and presenting to complete post production.
